Patti Austin, Butterscotch & Blue House Jazz Orchestra To Perform at the Stockholm Concert Hall – Sweden
Patti Austin will start off Jazz Autumn in Stockholm with the renowned Blue House Jazz Orchestra. Under the direction of conductor Peter Asplund and leader Magnus Lindgren, the concert will also feature another American vocalist- the innovative voice artist Butterscotch. The show, a part of the concert series Blue House Jazz, is on Friday, September 20 at 7:30 PM.

Butterscotch is a singer/beatboxer who incorporates her musical background of piano, guitar and bass into her compositions and performances. She is heavily influenced by jazz, classical, hip hop and R&B artists ranging from Frederic Chopin to John Coltrane to Stevie Wonder. Learn more.

The Concert Hall at Haymarket in central Stockholm is one of Sweden’s architectural masterpieces in a neoclassical style. It was built in April 1926 to especially house the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra but it hosts world-class concerts as well as the annual Nobel Prize Award ceremony and the Polar Music Prizes.
