Patti Austin appeared on the Michael Eric Dyson radio program Friday, April 17th. Patti talked about how she grew up in a house that had so many musical styles going at the same that she has developed versatility by osmosis and from a musician father who loved all types of music.

Patti also talked about how she saw the episode on Oprah that inspired her to write “By the Grace Of God” and get involved with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (NCADV) and start the Blue Movement to help stop domestic violence.
